Highland Competition & Pre-Championship

Registration for Primary, Pre-Premier and Pre-Championship dancers is at 7:30 a.m. Competition will start at 8:30 a.m. with the Fling. Registration for Championship & Memorial VM is at 11:00am. Memorial VM will follow the morning Reel.

• Primary – PDB, PDB & HC, Fling (4), Sword (2&1)
• Beginner & Novice – Fling (4), Sword (2&1), ST (3&1)
• Intermediate & Pre-Championship – Fling (4), Sword (2&1), ST (3&1), St & Highland Reel (2&2)

All groups will be split by age according to entries received. Age is as of date of competition. Technique and steps will be judged under RSOBHD regulations. The judge’s decision is final. Awards to two places less than number of dancers to a maximum of six places. Dancers will dance in numerical order.

Paulina McMaster Memorial Village Maid

Open to Premier dancers only. 4 Steps (any steps)

Age Groups: Under 12; 12 & Under 16 Years; 16 Years & Over

Top Six placings in each age group will be invited to participate in the Finals event on Sunday.

Championship will commence following morning awards.

Six Age Groups: Under 10; 10 & Under 12; 12 & Under 14; 14 & Under 16; 16 & Under 18; 18 & Over

Sanctioned by the Royal Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing.

2020 Championship steps must be danced in the Championship Event.

Randomized dance order for F, S & ST. Reel will be danced in numerical order.
